Yes, agree on all Bob. My nephew, a Moderate Republican who is 38 says he will not vote for Trump (yay) but feels that he would be richer if Trump won. I quoted some current statistics and comparison of Trump tariff idea. He is a soctor in Houston, and their facilities are “overrun” with immigrants. As he says, the system is not built to service them all. He is an ER doc and that’s where most immigrants would go in dire need for themselves and their children.

I just listen. I truly think we need immigration reform, somehow, but deporting everyone is not the solution either.

The leaders here in Texas suck!!!

Thanks, Chris! If by richer, your nephew thinks that having more money in the bank but owing a lot more collectively thru the national debt is good, I'd say it's short-sighted to say the least. During trump's first term, he ran up the debt to the tune of about $23,500 for every man, woman, and child in America, and very little of it could be considered an investment with a future return. How is that making us rich? Maybe show him the first meme, "Our Values Are More Important Than Any Policies. We Should Take Care, Not Advantage, Of Each Other."

I feel sorry for his experience in the ER. It's unfair and unacceptable on so many levels. I agree with Kamala Harris on her statements about immigration, but don't agree with her wording. She says she'd rather "fix the problem than run on it.," and that she'd sign the bipartisan bill that trump trashed. I'd prefer she say something more productive and comprehensive, like: "The immigration problem is complex and requires serious deliberation and decision-making by Congress, which must pass laws that the Executive Branch can implement. I pledge to push for and encourage Congress to work in a bipartisan manner to resolve the problems with our immigration system once and for all. My opponent and his supporters have not been serious about solving the problem, but instead have made it worse by using it as a political tool to divide Americans, and to blame others for their obstructionism. It's well past time for immigration to stop being a political talking point and for us to come together to find a comprehensive solution."

I hope Colin Allred beats the pants off of Cruz, and that Abbott takes a hit with his endorsements. Those two, in particular, give politics a bad name.
